Project Type: Light Industrial
Location: Clementon, NJ
Lighthouse Architecture was selected to more than double the size of the ENTEMANN’s sales and distribution center, and add a segregated truck service facility in Clementon’s Highway Commercial Zone on Blackwood-Clementon Road.
The design challenge was to create a retail store front for Entemann’s and Rita’s Water Ice, currently a separate pad site, that contributed to Clementon’s highway commercial district. Our task was to create a cost effective appearance that presented the distribution facility in a manner that was compatible with its location within the township.
We designed a new store front and adjacent distribution facility including all 30 truck bays. We utilized EIFS Cornice and façade trim with a coordinated color scheme to give the facility a big-box retail look and feel.
Designs included painted masonry walls with multi-colored fabric awnings and EIFS trim and cornice. The EIFS trim and cornice extended from the retail store front to across the distribution facility.
We had the pleasure of working with Peter Porretta of Lighthouse Architecture for our project. He is a very good communicator. He was very detail oriented and helped coordinate the project well.
We had a tight budget for completion of the project. Pete worked effectively and efficiently to create designs that more than met our needs.
