Project Type: Adaptive Reuse – Mixed-Use/Multifamily Facility
Location: Fishtown, Philadelphia, PA
Area: 34,000 sq. ft.
Balancing the historical character of the building with neighborhood development needs, Lighthouse Architecture applied its expertise in adaptive reuse and bar and restaurant design to redevelop a vacant early 20th-century industrial structure for multifamily housing and hospitality sector occupancy.
The Philadelphia architecture firm, headed by AIA architect and Lighthouse founder Peter Porretta, designed 15 residential units, two stories of garage parking, sidewalk bar and restaurant space ready for tenant fit-out and rooftop green space and common areas. The commercial architects provided full building system engineering services as well as structural and landscape architectural design.
