Alliance Homes Tenancy Agreement

Alliance Homes Tenancy Agreement

We believe that you should also make your own positive contribution to your community by working or training, helping others and simply being a good tenant and neighbour – not only because your lease requires it, but because it encourages others to do the same. If we have no concerns about how you move forward, we will try to convert your lease after six months. But if you violate the terms of your rental agreement while you have a start-up rental agreement, we can terminate you two months that you have to leave and a court will automatically return ownership of your home to us. Alliance Homes Group is a housing company in the west of England and was founded in 2006 to manage homes transferred by North Somerset Council. If you were a tenant of North Somerset Council before February 2006 and you are now a tenant of Alliance Homes, you will almost certainly have a secure lease protected. This means that you have slightly different rights than those who have become tenants since that date, including the right to sell. Most of our houses are rented at what is called social rent. This means that we follow the rules set by our regulator when we set the amount of rent. Some of our homes are also rented at affordable rent. For these properties, the rent is 80% of the average private rent calculated in the area. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the rental agreement you have by visiting our contact page. In 2015, Alliance developed its first homes outside North Somerset. This support is aimed at all those who need help to live independently; it can help homeowners or people who rent housing (rental allowance) and those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

All new tenants will first receive a “starting rent.” During this period, certain rights are limited – for example, there is no right to buy your home by the right to buy, exchange your home with another tenant, accommodate a tenant or make changes to the property. If there is no problem with the lease at the end of the start period (usually 6 months), the lease is converted to either a guaranteed rent (“life”) or a fixed-term lease of 5 years. The rent you are offered depends on your circumstances and the type of property you occupy. If you have any difficulties or questions about your lease, we will help you as much as possible. Depending on the nature of the problem, it is very likely that this is also related to other agencies that can provide specific assistance and support. You will use a “support plan” that will define the nature of the assistance that can be provided, the issues that will be addressed, what you need to do yourself to get a positive result and the timetable in which it should be achieved. Alliance Homes currently owns and manages approximately 6,500 housing units and employs 400 people, has annual sales of $38 million and works with local, regional and national agencies to provide services. In addition to providing affordable housing in terms of rent and operating costs, they also provide a number of care and support services to help individuals. Once your lease has started, we will visit you within a few weeks to check if you have settled in and to learn more about what it means to be the tenant of Alliance Homes. In 2017, after carers Trust Phoenix closed 50 employees who joined Alliance Living and Alliance, took over their adult support service, the young Carers support service and the Carers Counselling Service.
