University Village Lease Agreement

University Village Lease Agreement

The typical rental period is about 9.5 months of occupancy, which coincides with the academic calendar of the university. A total amount of rent is charged to the occupier for the contractually agreed occupancy period. The rental agreement reflects the total amount of rent, divided into 3 installments due from July 1 to January 1. These payments are not monthly rent and are not proportional. Welcome to University Village Apartments! Please contact us! All University Village leases are temperance leases. This type of rental should not be subject to a collection and/or proportional extract reservation. With individual rentals, you are only responsible for YOUR (or rent) for your student. You are not at all responsible for renting your roommates! Unlike a traditional lease or a common lease, if your roommate passes, graduates, or does not pay his rent, he has no influence on you or your lease. Students have enough to fear. An individual lease is one less thing! Coverage for your personal belongings is not part of your rental agreement. Tenant insurance can cover loss or damage to your personal belongings (including fire, theft or natural causes). Tenant insurance is not necessary, but highly recommended. In our effort to create a more pleasant residential environment for the student tenant, we now require all residents to support active tenant insurance or tenant liability insurance during their tenancy. The requirement of fundamental responsibility has become a common practice in housing life to provide calm and protection from unforeseen events that sometimes occur. Our tenant liability protects the occupant from liability coverage that arises during your student`s non-occupation, including, but not limited to careless damage to the dwelling unit, careless damage to another resident`s property or even injuries sustained by clients during their visit. Or if you opt for more robust rental insurance in case of theft or destruction, you can protect items such as textbooks, phones, electronics and other valuables. As long as your chosen policy fulfills the minimum coverage described in your lease, you can opt for any provider you think is best placed for you. If you don`t want to look for an insurer, we offer you a simple way to register for minimum liability as part of your rent payment.

If you know you want additional coverage on your business but don`t want to buy, we`ve identified a national insurer that specializes in insurance coverage for student tenants.
